Where is Fine Art's showroom in Doha?
Building 51, Street 201, Zone 55, on Salwa Road in Doha. We open Saturday to Wednesday from 9:00 to 21:00, Thursday from 9:00 to 14:00, and we are closed on Friday. The address links on this site open directly in Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps rather than searching for the name.
Can I buy from Fine Art online?
No, and the site does not pretend otherwise. This is a catalogue, not a shop: there is no checkout, no account and no card payment here. You can collect the pieces you are interested in and send them to us in one message on WhatsApp, and we confirm availability, price and delivery directly with you from there.
Are the prices on the website final?
They are indicative. Prices are shown in Qatari Riyals, and we confirm the price of any piece when we reply to your enquiry. Availability moves as pieces are sold in the showroom, so the site can briefly show something that has gone.
How can I pay?
Cash, card, bank transfer, an online payment link, Fawran, or cheque. We agree the method with you when we confirm the order — there is no payment on this website.
Do you deliver, and what does it cost?
Yes, inside Doha, and we confirm the delivery charge together with the price when we reply to your enquiry. We deliver and install where a piece needs installing rather than leaving it at the door, and we tell you what that involves before the piece arrives.
Do you ship outside Qatar?
We ship across the Gulf. If you are further away, ask us — we have sent pieces beyond the region, and we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense for what you are looking at.
Which furniture brands does Fine Art carry?
We have 911 pieces published from 59 houses, mostly American and European. The deepest are MacKenzie-Childs, Chelsea House, Hooker Furniture, John Richard, Bernhardt, Wildwood and Century Furniture, alongside Maitland-Smith, Theodore Alexander, Lexington, Jonathan Charles and Surya. Every house we carry has its own page listing what is in stock.
Does Fine Art make furniture to order?
Yes. If the piece you need is not the piece on the floor, we make it to your specification — your dimensions, your configuration, your fabric. Bring us a room, a sketch or a photograph and we will tell you what is possible before anything is committed.
How long does a made-to-order piece take?
Making the piece itself takes roughly a month. The fabric is what moves the date: if it is in stock it can reach us in a day, and if it has to be produced and shipped it can take a month or longer. Reupholstery is usually faster than new work, but it waits on the same fabric. We give you a realistic date once the fabric is chosen, not before. One thing worth knowing if you are paying in instalments: we order the fabric or place the piece into production once the agreed instalment is paid, so the date moves with the payment.
Does Fine Art reupholster furniture?
Yes, including pieces you did not buy from us. We re-cover and rebuild furniture you already own — yours, inherited, or bought from us years ago — in a fabric you choose now. It is often the better decision when the shape is right and only the surface has aged.
Can I return or exchange something?
You can return a piece within three days, or exchange it within a month. Where a return is agreed, it can be issued as store credit, and that credit does not expire.
Is there a warranty, and what happens years later?
Some of the houses we carry warrant their own work — Century Furniture and Highland House both carry a ten-year manufacturer warranty — and some do not, so ask us about the specific piece. Separately from that: anything that goes wrong because of something we did, we put right, with no time limit on it. And we service what we sell for as long as you own it. Depending on the scale of the work that is sometimes free and sometimes charged, and we tell you which before we start.
What else does Fine Art do besides sell furniture?
Three things beyond the catalogue and the made-to-order work. We build a three-dimensional view of your room with the actual pieces in it before you commit. We measure, make and fit custom curtains in your home. And we supply and install wallpaper.
How long has Fine Art been in Doha?
Since 2005, on Salwa Road, under the same family. The showroom has been in the furniture trade in Qatar for the whole of that time.
